About the bench

FVP stands for frame, variance and phase — the three things most of the measurements here end up being about.

This is a personal workshop page. It is not a company, it does not take work, and it has no roadmap. The site exists as somewhere to put notes that would otherwise be lost, and occasionally to send a link to someone who asked the same question twice.

Scope

Image sequences, frame timing, and small-signal phase measurement.

Method

Measure twice by different means. Publish the disagreement, not the average.

Publishing

Irregular. A note appears when a result survives being checked.

This site

Static HTML and one stylesheet. No scripts, no fonts loaded from elsewhere, no analytics, no cookies. It should render fine with styles disabled.
